Sylvain Mayer is the Manager, Innovation and Collaboration at the City of Calgary. He has over 20 years of experience in technology governance and infrastructure, and has directed projects such as The City’s fixed wireless strategy, field mobility service, and fibre optic plant. Sylvain represents The City of Calgary on advisory board of the Wireless Broadband Alliance, and is a professional member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), City of Calgary Society of Professional Engineers, and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Calgary.
